Radio Relay Links Network

The microwave link consists of 13 radio relay lines with a total length of 396 km. The radio relay network ensures data transmission from the eight base stations to the RIS center. All radio relay lines have been implemented under the Hot Standby (1+1) scheme, meaning, that each radio relay link has two transceivers. While one of them is operating, the other one is in a standby mode; and if for any reason the first one failed, the second transceiver operates the traffic. Thus reliability is ensured.
